Developer

Job description

The Developer will assist on consulting engagements with the main responsibility being to develop custom functionality to meet defined requirements. The Developer will provide objective advice, identify options, and suggest recommendations to enable our clients to become more efficient and better run their businesses.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned development activities within agreed upon timeline and budget.

Provide relevant project and status updates to project manager(s).

When timelines and/or budget are at risk, communicate this to appropriate resources in a timely manner so that expectations and planning can be adjusted.

Successfully assist on client engagements with focus on managing due dates, expectations, and budget.

Provide timely and quality service.

Assist with ensuring that additions to scope result in new work orders.

Communicate potential issues, conflicts, unsatisfied clients to PM and assist in responding to maintain client relationship.

Work towards creating long-term relationships with clients by being responsive, relevant and consistently delivering value.

Always be honest and ethical.

Identify opportunities for new business with client base and communicate those opportunities internally.

Assist with updating new and existing clients on Beck offerings and industry changes as needed.

Stay informed about industry trends and product changes.

Provide support to other team members.

Contribute to Beck operations and company growth through product testing, suggesting product improvements, and assisting with internal projects as assigned.

Qualifications

BS or higher degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years development experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or equivalent experience.

Ability to work with project team to assess needs and generate appropriate solutions to problems or identified needs.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Job description

The Solution Architect will be the technical lead on consulting engagements with the main responsibility being to provide the technical guidance to define and develop custom functionality to meet project requirements. The Solution Architect will provide objective advice, identify options, and suggest recommendations to
enable our clients to become more efficient and better run their businesses.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements gathering meetings to understand client requirements and business processes.

Responsible for final internal approval of ERD contents.

Provide estimates for ERD proposal.

Provide project and development related guidance to developers.

Participate in project internal meetings where requirements are being defined / flushed out.

Provide direction and support for project team during detailed design meetings.

Provide guidance and objective advice to clients, including suggesting options on how to achieve their business requirements.
