Project management is key to a successful implementation. Without this, you will not be on time, on budget, or meet the expectations of your users. Our project managers work closely with your implementation team to plan, manage, coordinate, and report on implementation tasks, schedules, and milestones.

Our project management methodology is based on managing hundreds of implementations in organizations of all sizes and complexity. And while we utilize a best practices model, the project definition is based on a set of mutually defined tasks, measurements, and timing. While each implementation has variations, the general project management functions we provide are described below.

• Mutually determine:
  - Tasks to completed
  - Schedule/timing of tasks
  - Task responsibilities
  - Milestones or progress measurement points
  - Workplan
  - Reporting schedule
  - Identify project risks
• Identify critical tasks and include them in the workplan
• Monitor implementation workplan progress
• Periodic reporting (usually weekly)
• Mutually adjust workplan as needed
• Contingency planning

• Go-live planning and monitoring.
• Post-implementation assessment

If the project is to be completed in phases, this process repeats for all the defined phases. This methodology is designed to assure open and ongoing communication with all members of the project team, provide a responsive mechanism for the unplanned issues that occur during an implementation, and minimize your organizational stress.
