Realize the full potential of your bcERP and Dynamics NAV software solutions through our webinar series, ERP Unlocked: Using bcERP with NAV to Effectively Run Your Business. Taking place in the third week of each month, our next session will be held on June 15, at 2:00 PM EDT/11:00 AM PDT. We hope to see you there!

Webinar 10: Order Planning, MRP/MPS, and Forecasting

June 15, 2017
2:00 PM EDT/11:00 AM PDT

In this webinar, we will use Dynamics NAV’s planning tools to respond to the sales documents that we created in our last webinar. The items on these sales documents create demand for our products, and so the question then becomes whether we have a sufficient quantity of inventory on hand. Using the Planning Worksheet, Dynamics NAV can compare demand to existing and anticipated inventory levels, and then provide suggestions on what we need to manufacture or procure in order to satisfy our stocking needs.

This session will include the following:

  • A Review of Item Planning Parameters
  • Sales Order Forecasts
  • Requisitions and the Planning Worksheet
  • Suggested Actions (Creating Production/Purchase Orders)

About ERP Unlocked

Learning how to use Dynamics NAV is not particularly difficult; oftentimes it’s as simple as pressing the F1 button and reading the supplied help file. Learning how to use Dynamics NAV to its fullest potential, on the other hand, is a different story. Oftentimes there are multiple ways to obtain the same result in the system, and the question then becomes which is best for your organization. The answer is a bit more difficult than reading a few help files, and requires a level of knowledge that comes only through years of experience with software projects and implementations.

In business for more than 30 years, we at Beck Consulting possess this level of expertise with both Microsoft Dynamics NAV and our own bcERP product. We are confident that we can provide guidance on the optimal way to configure, manage, and work within your ERP environment, and want you our customer to take full advantage of the wisdom we have to offer. That is why we are excited to announce our monthly webinar series ERP Unlocked: Using bcERP with NAV to Effectively Run Your Business.

ERP Unlocked will be more than just a straightforward product demo or by-the-numbers review of every field on every page. Our goal is to present the same scenarios, events, and challenges that you face in your day-to-day operations, then provide you with the best way to address them.

We will begin ERP Unlocked with a 12 part series that addresses every major stage of a manufacturing environment, from beginning to end. Accordingly, our first session will cover the purchasing process. Subsequent sessions will address the receipt of purchased goods, inventory and BOM design, warehouse configuration and movements, sales, production planning and execution, shipping, and how to best handle recalls and returns.
